Nilani in the Paper

This was written awhile ago but was stored instead of published...

Nilani made the news, feel free to check out her article. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/pets/detail?entry_id=74864

Nilani is still doing great, she is working hard and giving lots of love and comfort. We were working with a teenage patient the other day who thanked Nilani for coming to see her. She said that Nilani makes her less scared and the pain isn't as bad when Nilani is in bed with her. This is a perfect example of why Nilani is here at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Nilani also has a special friend who comes once a week and takes her for a little hike on our lunch break. Nilani comes back to the hospital refreshed and ready to go. Thank you for your help and continuous support of Nilani!
